Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- The Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm in the DPRK is putting efforts into boosting the area under functional vegetable cultivation.

This year the farm set itself a goal of increasing the area under functional vegetable cultivation by more than 1.5 times as against last year and paid attention to growing seedlings of high-yielding functional vegetables.

It organized scientific and technological study to improve the technical knowledge and skills of its employees.

Now that new varieties of vegetables are grown, the farm arranges for the employees to grasp the scientific and technological knowledge.

The farm also made an effort to transplant the grown functional vegetable seedlings in a qualitative way in line with the scientific and technological requirements. By doing so, it ensured the high survival rate of the seedlings. -0-
