Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- The vigorous work for creating new edifices suited to the civilization of the times is going on at the construction sites in the field of arts of the DPRK.

Builders of the construction company under the Ministry of Culture and other units have concentrated all their efforts on the external and internal construction work for the Pyongyang Puppet Theatre after finishing its basic frame work.

The preparation work is being stepped up to complete the exterior of the theater building with various finishing building-materials suited to the surrounding environment while sustaining its characteristics as a base for cultural and emotional life specializing in the puppet drama. And the interior construction work is being pushed forward as scheduled.

The construction of an artistes' hotel is progressing apace. Its builders finished the foundation work and entered the frame work. They are now raising the working efficiency at every process including form assembly while exploring and introducing valuable inventions and advanced proposals for increasing the operation rate of heavy machines.

The Ministry of Culture has made preparations in a far-sighted way to build the dance school affiliated to Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun University of Music and Dance into a wonderful center for training artistic talent reserves and simultaneously launch other projects for remodeling or repairing various objects in cooperation with relevant units. -0-
