Pyongyang, January 8 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Taean Friendship Glass Factory in the DPRK are making innovations in sheet glass production.

The factory launched frontline-style political work to encourage the masses to implement the decisions of the Party Central Committee and took innovative measures for carrying out the national economic plan on all indices while pushing ahead with overhauling of a melting furnace.

Workers and technicians of the raw material workshop are supplying raw materials necessary for producing glass water in a responsible manner while observing technical rules and standard regulations in processes of crushing, grinding and mixing.

Those of the sheet glass workshop have made good results every day by introducing technical innovation proposals for normal operation of different furnaces.

Skilled workers of the hydrogen and nitrogen workshop are producing high-purity hydrogen and nitrogen to contribute to improving the quality of glass products.

Workers of the packing workshop are ensuring the safety of packing and loading operations and those of the transport shop are expanding the successes made in transport of raw materials while keeping vehicles in good condition. -0-
