Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- The Sinuiju Railway Branch in the DPRK has made efforts to ensure the growing demand of transport by improving railroads and repairing and reinforcing railway facilities.

The branch has invented and introduced more than 10 technical innovations this year and produced tens of thousands of concrete sleepers by revitalizing self-reliance bases.

Officials and workers of the Sinuiju Railway Accessory Factory have remodeled hydraulic presses, material cutters and drills and built up a new railway fixtures production process.

The Sinuiju Trackmen's Team changed 18 500 sleepers through socialist emulation.

Similar successes are witnessed at the Sinuiju Sleeper Production Team and the Sinuiju railway structure repairing team. -0-
