Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Efforts are being made in the DPRK to carry forward and develop Taekwon-Do, an orthodox martial art of the Korean nation.

The Ministry of IT Industry, Okryu Restaurant and Chongryu Restaurant are disseminating Taekwon-Do while instilling into their employees the immortal exploits the peerlessly great men performed in developing the orthodox martial art.

The Management Office of the Tower of the Juche Idea and the Arch of Triumph and the Hungnam Metal Factory have organized Taekwon-Do games and judged them on several occasions and introduced the exemplary employees in various forms and methods.

Taekwon-Do is also being disseminated at Tangsang Primary School in Mangyongdae District, Sariwon Primary School for Orphans, Hwangju Middle School for Orphans and Mirae Kindergarten in Phyongchon District.

In the course, many officials, working people, youth, students and children were awarded the Taekwon-Do grades and degrees this year. -0-
