Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, the scientific farming promotion team of the DPRK has made redoubled efforts to support the whole process of farming by dint of science.

The team strives to ensure the proper distribution of varieties of crops and the selection of seeds, advanced agricultural science and technology and products to be introduced this year while analyzing the climatic and soil conditions in relevant areas and last year's farming situation.

And it is directing efforts to reinforcing its team members with competent scientists to be dispatched to relevant areas.

It is also preparing a technical course for disseminating the agricultural sci-tech achievements and high-yielding farming experiences gained last year as well as improving the ability and qualifications of team members.

Meanwhile, the team has pushed ahead with the work to disseminate the technology for producing major accessories of nutritive rice-transplanting machines. -0-
