Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- Kumgol Youth Railway Station under the Tanchon Railway Branch Bureau has been remodeled in the DPRK.

The interior and exterior of the terminal of the railway station have been built into a modern passenger service center suited to the characteristics of the mountainous area, thus providing the people with more civilized and convenient travel conditions.

In October 2020, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave field guidance at the construction site for rehabilitating the flood-hit areas in Komdok area by train running on a dangerous ravine railway temporarily built with wooden racks. He unfolded a bright blueprint for transforming the area into a country's model mountain and mining town, indicated the orientation and ways for sprucing up the railway station in a cosy way and solved the problems arising in the construction.

Present at the inaugural ceremony were officials of the Tanchon Railway Branch Bureau and Kumgol Youth Railway Station, shock brigade members and employees.

At the inaugural ceremony, the speaker said that Kumgol Youth Railway Station where the Juche-oriented idea on architectural beauty was applied is another proud creation provided under the warm care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to provide the people with more civilized service conditions.
