Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- The national exhibition of IT successes-2025 opened in the DPRK.

The exhibition is to be held at the Sci-Tech Complex and on the state data communication website "National exhibition of IT successes" in the way of actual and virtual exhibition.

On display at the exhibition are over 1 700 data dealing with successes and products presented by more than 510 units in Pyongyang and regions which have taken the lead in an informatization drive.

There will be an artificial intelligence program contest, a programming contest, a contest among the units producing IT products including digital TVs and smart phones, a sci-tech presentation and a lecture on the developing trend of IT during the exhibition.

An opening ceremony took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on October 20.

Attending the ceremony were Secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea Choe Tong Myong, Vice-Premier Jon Sung Guk, officials concerned and officials and working people of the entrant units.

Minister of IT Industry Ju Yong Il made an opening address. -0-
