Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The Ministry of Education in the DPRK pushes ahead with the project for improving the quality of education by putting it on an IT basis of higher level.

The ministry has stepped up the work to develop the nationwide pedagogic informatics system. It organized a control group for developing the system and a study group involving teachers and researchers from various universities.

Officials concerned are directing efforts to standardizing the educational data on an IT basis at educational units at all levels.

Meanwhile, they are making exact demands on relevant units to successfully carry out their assignments in order to secure IT-based educational data. -0-
