Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- The Kosan Combined Fruit Farm in the DPRK is manuring and cultivating fruit trees in a proper way.

The farm is conducting technical study in combination with practice to put fruit farming on a more scientific and intensive basis and directing efforts on laying the material and technical foundations for fruit production.

It is intensifying farming operation and technical guidance on the basis of taking measures for preventing damage by harmful insects and assigning tasks for improving soil fertility after examining the growth of fruit trees and soil conditions.

It has also made preparations for digging ditches and applying additional fertilizer to cope with disastrous abnormal weather. -0-
