Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- True to the Party policy on raising the production capacity while meeting the immediate demand for electricity, hydropower stations in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK direct efforts to the adjustment and reinforcement and the enhancement of generation efficiency.

Officials and workers in the hydroelectric field of the province have over-fulfilled their daily quota, concentrating efforts on the improvement of performance of generating equipment and the consolidation of material and technical basis.

The Puryong Power Station has carried out its daily quota over 1.2 times by making the load dispatch of generators in a rational way and ensuring the high water level and high efficiency operation.

The workers of the Orangchon Power Station completed their national economic plan for January ahead of schedule by putting the water control on a scientific basis and enhancing the operation efficiency of the station, while pushing ahead with the adjustment of the transmission system in a planned way. -0-
