Timber Production Units in DPRK Fulfill Their Annual Plans

Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the forestry industry of the DPRK are bringing about a surge in production.

More than 10 units under the Ministry of Forestry have carried out their yearly plans for the timber production.

Various units of the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau, including the Paekam Mine Timber Production Station and the Paekja Forestry Station, introduced efficient working methods and displayed the might of collectivism, registering high daily results every day.

The Toan Forestry Station, the Komdok Mine Timber Production Station and other units under the South Hamgyong Provincial Forestry Management Bureau conducted socialist emulations among workteams and sub-workteams and a technological innovation movement to increase per-hour timber output.

Fellers at the Pukchang Mine Timber Production Station, etc. also put spurs to the timber production while providing favorable conditions for production. -0-
