Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex in the DPRK has set a high goal for increased production this year to make innovations.

The complex fulfilled its national economic plan for January and produced 4 000-odd tons of more fertilizer with less consumption of coal, 7 percent lower than the same period of last year. This means that it saved more than 100 tons of coal every day.

After the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, the workers of the complex have increased fertilizer production every year, renewing the highest production results several times. -0-
