Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held on the spot on Sept. 6 to convey a congratulatory message the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea sent to the employees and officials of the Changgwang Service Management Office on the occasion of its 40th founding anniversary.

Present there were Kim Tok Hun, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials and employees of the management office.

Kim Tok Hun read out the congratulatory message.

The WPK Central Committee in its congratulatory message said that the restaurants of the management office, which are lined up in the best places in the central part of Pyongyang, are a precious revolutionary legacy associated with the noble traits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who devoted their all to the people, feeling great pleasure and worth in the happy appearance of the people, and a wealth of the people which is thoroughly embodying the Party's policy of public catering service and the Korean-style socialist service culture putting the demands and interests of the people above all else.

The message said that the 40-year history of the management office is the days of devotion of the employees and officials who have made excellent successes through sincere service activities with the pride and honor of being a horticulturist cultivating the people's laughter.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

The speakers expressed their resolve to carry out the Party's policy of the public catering service by steadily improving service activities with the people's demands and interests as an absolute standard, bearing in mind the honor of receiving the congratulatory message of the WPK Central Committee.
