Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held on Wednesday to mark the 50th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's field guidance at the Mansudae Art Studio.
Jon Myong Gwang, director of the art studio, made a report at the meeting.
The reporter said that President Kim Il Sung visited the Mansudae Art Studio on February 27, 1975 and clearly indicated the issues arising in the creation of busts of anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs, to be erected at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong, and of the monuments to the revolutionary traditions.
He noted that Chairman Kim Jong Il turned the art studio into a comprehensive fine art producer of the country and gave a lot of important guidelines that serve as precious truth in depicting the President's ennobling image and creating fine art works.
He said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un put forward the art studio in the van of the work for accomplishing the cause of immortalizing the great leaders and for building an advanced and highly-civilized nation, took meticulous care of the studio so that it could successfully fulfill its noble mission and duty before the times and history, and opened up a new phase of fine art unprecedented in the world fine art history.
The reporter called upon all the employees of the art studio to repay the great love and trust of Kim Jong Un with good creative successes by displaying vigorous courage, exertion and inexhaustible passion and devotion and thus add luster to the honor of the Juche-oriented fine art creative group which has grown up under the care of the peerlessly great men. -0-
