Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- South Hwanghae Province is busy with the preparations for next year's farming.

It is giving technical guidance to all the farms to produce self-sufficing manure in a qualitative way and pushing ahead with the work to finish ploughing paddy and non-paddy fields.

It is giving priority to the work to secure enough seeds of supra-species and taking measures to introduce nutritive cold-bed rice seedlings into more areas.

It further perfects irrigation system to steadily increase grain production and introduces the catfish farming in paddy fields and the organic farming method by mud snails on a large scale.

More than 10 cities and counties have finished ploughing and are tilling large paddy fields every day, effectively employing farm machines and draught animals according to the conditions of fields. -0-
