Metal Industrial Establishments in DPRK Boost Production

Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- Metal industrial establishments in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK make signal progress in the production, fulfilling their daily plans.

The Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex is pushing forward the construction of an energy-saving oxygen heat blast furnace and the installation of a large oxygen separator while putting spurs to keeping the production going at a high rate.

Workers of the Musan Mining Complex have steadily increased the iron ore production after successfully carrying out their plan for September.

The same is true of the Chongjin Steel Plant and the Puryong Ferroalloy Factory. -0-
