Lecturers and Primary Information Workers Start Study Tour of Revolutionary Battle Sites in Area of Mt Paektu

Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- Chief lecturers and primary information workers of the women's union in the DPRK started a study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu.

They held a kick-off meeting of the study tour at the plaza before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in Hyesan City on August 1.

The participants laid bouquets before the statues of the great leaders and paid tribute to them.

At the meeting speakers said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Paektu area several times to raise a strong wind of education in the revolutionary traditions and made sure that the advance speed of the revolution is redoubled in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu.

They stressed that the members of the study tour group should learn from the spirit of defending the leader unto death and the indomitable revolutionary spirit displayed by the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners and prepare themselves to be staunch and competent political activists, thus actively leading all the members of the women's union to devote their loyalty and patriotism to every worksite for implementing the Workers' Party of Korea's decisions.

After the meeting, the chief lecturers and primary information workers of the women's union started their march. -0-
