Exhibition of Intangible Cultural Heritages-2025 Closes

Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- The exhibition of intangible cultural heritages-2025 closed with due ceremony at the Moranbong Youth Park on Sunday.

Exchanged during the exhibition were the achievements and experience which were gained in the work for protecting intangible cultural heritages, true to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to value the worthy creations and beautiful manners and customs associated with the wisdom and talents of the Korean people and carry forward and develop them as required by the times.

The book "Folklore Literature", "Table-setting Method", "Taekwon-Do", "Makkoli", "Mung-bean Jelly" and "Kite-flying" presented by Kim Il Sung University, Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce, the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, the Taebo Noodle House of the Pothonggang District Restaurants Management Office, the Ryonghung Rice-cooking Shop No. 2 of the Taesong District Restaurants Management Office and Munhung Senior Middle School in Taedonggang District drew the attention of visitors as they showed well the time-honoured history, splendid culture and beautiful manners and customs of Korea.

Highly appreciated were the intangible cultural heritages presented by Okryu Restaurant, Chongryu Restaurant, Sinhung Restaurant in South Hamgyong Province, Wonsan Songdowon Restaurant in Kangwon Province, the North Hwanghae Provincial Art Troupe, the national traditional technique dissemination centre in the South Hwanghae Provincial People's Committee and Ponbu Kindergarten in Sinuiju City affiliated to Sinuiju Teacher Training College.

Present at the closing ceremony were Sung Jong Gyu, minister of Culture, officials concerned, and officials and researchers of the exhibited units.

The special diploma and best diplomas were awarded to the units which were highly appreciated in the exhibition.

At the end of the closing ceremony there was an art performance. -0-
