Pyongyang, January 18 (KCNA) -- An art performance of the art squad of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League and youth and students "We Are Korean Youth" was given at the Central Youth Hall on Jan. 17 to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League.

Among the audience were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the youth league, and participants in the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the SPYL.

In the performance, which began with chorus "March of Korean Youth", the performers sang high praises of the immortal feats of the peerlessly great men who led the Korean youth movement to victory with their original idea of prioritizing the youth and through their energetic guidance.

Song and dance "Dear Father" and other numbers showed the joy and optimism of the young vanguard holding in high esteem the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who is bringing up the young people to be heirs to the revolutionary cause and heroes of the times with his untiring efforts.

Violin ensemble and song "Young People, Be Loyal to Our Party", male solo "Campfire, Flare Up" and other numbers reflected the strong desire and aspiration of the youths to orient their ideal and aspiration to the Party's plan and devote their all to the sacred struggle for prosperity and development of the country and the well-being of the people. -0-
