Art Performance Marks 77th KCU Birthday

Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- Schoolchildren gave an art performance at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on June 6 in celebration of the 77th birthday of the Korean Children's Union (KCU).

Enjoying the performance were Ri Tu Song, department director of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the C.C., Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league, students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, the relay racers carrying the letter of loyalty from all the KCU members, and other schoolchildren.

The art performance began with a prologue, "Care of the Sun". Put on the stage were colorful numbers showing the bright and cheerful looks of schoolchildren who are growing up into reliable pillars of socialist Korea, enjoying the greatest happiness in the world under the care of the motherly Party.

The performers impressively represented the boundless reverence of all the schoolchildren across the country for Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the great leaders.

There were numbers showing their deep reverence for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Some numbers reflected the happiness of schoolchildren who are realizing their beautiful dreams and desires, making themselves knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy, and the will of millions of KCU members determined to reliably carry forward the precious tradition of loyalty created by the anti-Japanese children's corps members.

The performance by happy children preparing themselves as competent talents under the care of the grateful socialist system won an enthusiastic applause from the audience. -0-
