Fish Pickling Factory Built at Hanchon Fishery Station in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- A fish pickling factory has been built at the Hanchon Fishery Station in the DPRK.

The construction of this base for producing such various kinds of products as pickled shrimps, pickled oysters and shrimp sauce laid another material and technical foundation for improving the people's diet.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un instructed the Hanchon Fishery Station to build a new large-capacity fish pickling process and indicated the tasks and ways for its construction and management.

A ceremony for inaugurating the factory was held on January 23.

Present there were Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, Ri Song Bom, chairman of the South Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, officials in the province, officials of the provincial fishery management bureau and officials and employees of the Hanchon Fishery Station.

Song Chun Sop, minister of Fisheries, in his address called upon the employees of the factory to devote their wisdom and enthusiasm to normalizing production and improving quality, mindful of the Party's intention to provide the people with better dietary conditions by developing the fish pickling culture of our style.
