Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- Sariwon Ri Kye Sun University of Education has been newly built in North Hwanghae Province.

The university has school buildings, e-library, gymnasium, dormitory and other conditions and environment for teaching and study.

The modern university, built as befits the pedigree establishment for training teachers, makes it possible to develop the educational work in the province into the one of a higher level and train more competent reserve teachers.

Present at its inauguration ceremony held on Jan. 23 were Pak Chang Ho, chief secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials and working people in the province and Sariwon City and teaching staff and students of the university.

At the ceremony, a speaker called on all the students to study hard with the main emphasis on acquiring the qualifications and traits of an educator so as to prepare themselves to be teacher revolutionaries with versatile knowledge and high creativity.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round various places of the university. -0-
