Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Graduating class students of senior middle schools in Hamhung City of the DPRK met with war veterans at the Hamhung Grand Theatre.

The war veterans noted that with the firm faith they, led by President Kim Il Sung, would surely win, they had unhesitatingly blocked the enemy pillboxes with their bodies to open up a route of charge. Such noble self-sacrificing spirit and popular heroism served as a motive power that helped glorify the DPRK as a country of heroes in the world, they stressed.

They handed over the sacred national flag of the DPRK to the students, earnestly asking them to uphold the ideas and leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un with single-minded loyalty.

The students expressed their resolve to carry forward the staunch revolutionary spirit and do-or-die resistance spirit of the defenders of the country, who brought about miraculous war victory in the 1950s, and thus perform proud military feats at the honorable posts of national defence. -0-
