Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- Innovations are being made every day in the railway transport sector of the DPRK, thanks to the devoted efforts of its officials and workers.

The first-day transport plan of the Ministry of Railways for the year was fulfilled.

West Pyongyang, Pyongyang and Sinsongchon engine service brigades of the Pyongyang Railway Bureau have carried out their daily transport plans from the outset of the year by meticulously conducting the self-check and self-repair and raising the actual operation rate of locomotives.

The same is true of Hamhung, Chongjin and Kaechon railway bureaus. -0-
