Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- The food industry of the DPRK has made sci-tech successes for implementing the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on directing efforts to improving the quality of products and expanding their varieties.
The Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory conceived and applied a rational design for a packing machine for all the products, and then made and installed a vertical scoop by itself, thus increasing the productivity six times and ensuring the hygienic safety.
The Amnokgang General Foodstuff Factory established the food safety management system in various production lines, and developed dozens of products of 11 kinds which contain healthy substances.
Out of their desire to contribute to improving the people's diet, officials and employees of Pyongyang, Haeju and Sariwon condiments factories are solving the scientific and technological problems arising in diversifying products.
The Hoechang County Foodstuff Factory, the Samjiyon Soybean Paste and Sauce Factory and the Kwail County Foodstuff Factory are stepping up technical innovations aimed at producing their specialties. -0-
