Jagang Province Takes Measures to Improve Educational Condition and Environment

Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- Jagang Province in the DPRK has taken measures to improve the educational condition and environment of rural schools. Hundreds of multi-functional classrooms were built in the province during the first half of the year.

Officials in the province, cities and counties went to rural schools to solve the problems arising in putting the education on a modern basis and let the support organizations provide even one more things conductive to turning classrooms into multi-functional ones.

While paying attention to providing the equipment and materials necessary for strengthening the foundations of experiment and practice of rural schools, they are disseminating and generalizing the good experience gained by urban schools in raising the level of education to rural schools and to provide them with more teaching aids.

The province is pushing ahead with the reconstruction of dozens of schools and the construction of one hundred and tens of branch schools. It is also taking measures to supply equipment and materials and conducting a review and evaluation according to the results of execution. -0-
