Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- A meeting of universities across the DPRK for reviewing education in 2024 took place at Kim Il Sung University from March 18 to 20.

Present there were Choe Tong Myong, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned and senior administrative officials of universities across the country.

Kim Sung Du, minister of Education, made a report at the meeting.

Then followed a video show introducing the successes and experience gained by universities across the country in putting education on an IT basis, exploring and utilizing superior educational methods and ensuring the effectiveness of experiment and practical training.

A series of deviations revealed in the educational work last year were analyzed and reviewed in depth.

During the meeting, an experience-sharing meeting and a workshop were held to widely introduce exemplary teachers and officials and generalize experience and there was a visit to the excellent universities in Pyongyang. -0-
