Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- Teaching preparations for the new school year have been completed in the DPRK.

The Ministry of Education organized various short courses for implementing the educational programmes in the new school year to help teachers improve their practical qualifications and prepare for teaching.

Universities across the country completed the work for reshaping the teaching programs so as to raise the specialty of students and conducted the preparations for teaching programs.

Teachers of primary schools and junior and senior middle schools in the field of general education worked heart and soul to develop various teaching methods suited to the psychological characteristics of schoolchildren and conducive to raising their cognitive ability, while possessing qualifications to successfully conduct teaching.

Technical senior middle schools provided modern conditions for ensuring experiments and practical training specified in teaching schedule.

Meanwhile, teacher retraining units at all levels organized workshops to improve the qualifications of teachers. -0-
