Meeting of Agricultural Workers in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- A meeting to hear impressions of the reminiscences on virtues of the peerlessly great men was held by agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) at the Phungjong-ri Cultural Hall in Jungsan County, South Phyongan Province on Tuesday to celebrate the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The main content of a memoir of virtue "The story about our Party flag and emblem" was explained by Kim Kum Chol, department director of the UAWK Central Committee.

Then followed speeches.

Speakers said that all the people in the country are full of confidence and optimism that they will always emerge victorious and greet all glory, thanks to the WPK which is shining with the august names of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and is led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

They expressed the determination to grasp the undying feats of the WPK, which worked out a gigantic revolutionary strategy for realizing the centuries-old desire of the regional people and ushering in a new history of regional development, a new era in which regional areas change and develop, and take the lead in implementing the Party's policies.

They called for doing their best with patriotism to successfully conclude this year's farming and thus repaying with higher agricultural production results the trust of the Party which put forward them as the master responsible for the country's granary.

Present at the meeting were officials of the Central Committee of the UAWK, officials concerned and agricultural workers in the county. -0-
