Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- South Hwanghae Province completed one hundred and tens of major projects conducive to the economic development and improvement of the people's living standards.

The provincial air club and the Haeju Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory have been built, roads in Haeju City have been newly improved and construction projects like the provincial sci-tech library, the Kangryong Wheat Processing Factory, the Hwangnam Steel Works are near completion.

More than 20 schools at all levels, 60-odd branch schools and 10-odd kindergartens were newly built or remodeled in the province.

Modern goat farms were newly built in Haeju City and Ongjin and other counties.

Newly-built standard pharmacies began their operation in city and counties, and more than 10 Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories, including the Paechon County Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, were updated and put on a GMP basis. -0-
