Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- South Phyongan Province of the DPRK launched a lecture and information campaign to arouse the officials and working people to the drive for increased production and economy.

At the Anju Pump Factory, the Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant and other industrial establishments, the members of an intensive lecture and information team of the provincial Party committee have called for turning out in the drive for increased production and economy in the fighting stamina of the working class of the preceding generations, while stirring up the working people's patriotic enthusiasm with such songs as "Are We Living like in Those Days?".

They have also encouraged the agricultural workers with diverse motivation works in rural areas of Taedong and Jungsan counties.

Lecturers and information workers in Sunchon and Kaechon cities and Sukchon County have called upon the agricultural workers to ensure the scientific farming in a responsible manner and become patriotic peasants supporting the Workers' Party of Korea with grain production, explaining about the agricultural sci-tech knowledge.

Party organizations in major sectors of the province, including the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex and the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex, are improving the efficiency of ideological work through lecture and information activities. -0-
