Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- True to the decisions of the Tenth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials and workers in the mining industry sector are increasing the production by directing efforts to strengthening their technical force.

The Unpha Mine has hastened the project for laying rails to increase the capacity for carrying ore and overhauled equipment.

The Hyesan Youth Mine has made a breakthrough in increasing the mineral production through technical innovation to raise the extraction rate of ore dressing and the grade of concentrated ore.

Similar successes are witnessed in the December 5 Youth Mine and the Manpho Smeltery. -0-
