Many Historical Sites Restored in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people in Kangwon Province of the DPRK devote their patriotic efforts to the protection of national heritage.

The province reviewed the actual conditions of historical sites and organized the work to restore them on the principle of Juche character, scientific accuracy and historicism.

It provided necessary materials and sent officials and working people in the field of national heritage protection, able artists and others in the province to repair and restore them in conformity with the historical facts.

They successfully repaired and repainted nearly 30 historical sites in the area of Mt Kumgang, including Phyohun and Singye temples. -0-
