Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- This year, the DPRK has released ten billion young fish and tens of millions of fry.

North Phyongan Province built a spawning ground of over one million square meters and stocked rivers, lakes and reservoirs with more than 1.8 billion young fish.

South Phyongan Province has stocked rivers and lakes with hundreds of millions of young fish and millions of fry.

Fish farming units in South Hwanghae Province, Nampho Municipality and other parts of the country, too, are stocking rivers with fish while introducing advanced fish-farming technology and consolidating their material and technical foundations. -0-
