Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- A poem and song presentation "Song of Eternal Victor" was given by workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) at the Central Hall of Workers on Friday to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Present there were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, trade union officials, workers and trade union members in Pyongyang.

The performers impressively represented the indomitable fighting spirit of the victorious wartime generation who defeated the aggressors and honorably defended the dignity and sovereignty of the Republic, remaining faithful to the leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

The long epic "War and Love" evoked the boundless reverence for the President who defeated the Japanese and U.S. imperialists in one generation and thus demonstrated to the whole world the sovereignty and dignity of the country and firmly defended the destiny of the country and its people.

Through the mixed duet "Three Years of War", the participants keenly realized once again the precious victory won by the victorious wartime generation, dedicating themselves to the sacred war for defending the country, devotedly upholding the order of the leader during the hard-fought war.

The reverence for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who put the dignity and prestige of the DPRK on the highest level with his outstanding and tested leadership was expressed in various numbers.

The poem and song presentation ended with choruses "Victory Will Be Won Generation after Generation" and "Do Prosper, My Motherland". -0-
