DPRK Schoolchildren Start Study Tour of Revolutionary Battle Sites in Area of Mt Paektu

Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- Schoolchildren from across the DPRK started a study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu.

They held a kick-off meeting at the plaza before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in Hyesan City on Monday.

They laid a flower basket and bouquets at the statues of the peerlessly great men and bowed to them.

A report was made there to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that all the participants in the study tour should follow the transparent ideological and moral world of the forerunners who dedicated their youth and lives to liberating the country by waging the bloody anti-Japanese war under the leadership of Kim Il Sung, and strengthen the strong will to boldly overcome difficulties.

At the end of the meeting, the participants made a march to Mt Paektu. -0-
