New Stimulant to Ripening Ears Developed

Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- Scientists and technicians of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the DPRK developed "Hwanggumisak" (gold ears), a stimulant to ripening ears.

This product promotes the growth of cells and influences the cell differentiation to bring earlier the periods of germination, rooting, flowering and fruiting.

It also helps increase the fertilizing and ripening rates of crops even under the conditions of disastrous abnormal weather.

The newly-developed stimulant has already been introduced to various agricultural production units, proving its advantages.

This stimulant is low at the production cost and labor-saving and can be used twice in the whole period of crop growth. -0-
