Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK Tuesday dedicate editorials and articles to the greatest national memorial day.

Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says that the world historic events and eye-opening changes made by our people in the last century are linked with the immortal august name of President Kim Il Sung and the dignity and prestige of our state which have been fully displayed before the world are unthinkable apart from his revolutionary exploits.

The editorial goes on:

Korean-style socialism, a noble patriotic legacy of the President, is an invincible power which is ever-victorious with the revolutionary idea of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea as its lifeline.

It is a miraculous country that ushers in a heyday of comprehensive national rejuvenation thanks to the extraordinary leadership practice of the Party Central Committee.

President Kim Il Sung firmly defended the dignity and sovereignty of our Republic and laid the foundation for powerful economy and national defence for the happiness of the people. It holds a shining place in the exploits performed by him in building a thriving nation.

Korean-style socialism, the precious patriotic legacy of the President, is a dignified country of the people where the ideal of the people is brought into full bloom thanks to the intention and will of the Party Central Committee for the devoted service for the people's wellbeing.

Today, the DPRK greets a new era of unprecedented changes in which the dignity, right and interests of the people are thoroughly defended and the people's dreams and ideals are fully realized under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The editorial calls upon all the people to dynamically struggle for the eternal prosperity of our state shining with the august name of the President by getting united more firmly around Kim Jong Un.
