Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) and agricultural workers union organizations at all levels are conducting the brisk mass movement for increasing the proportion of the farm work done by machines.

The Central Committee of the UAWK saw to it that the provincial, city and county agricultural workers union organizations have waged the socialist emulation with the main emphasis on raising the operation rate of farm machines in autumn farming.

The Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the UAWK is generalizing the experience of the Mangyongdae District Farm Machine Station which is ensuring the full-capacity operation of farm machines by raising the role of mobile repair teams.

The South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the UAWK made the officials of the city and county committees of the UAWK arouse the enthusiasm of the union members while working together with them and conducting political work.

The North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the UAWK organized the socialist emulation and reviewed and evaluated it regularly. As a result, many farm machines have been repaired and the mobile repair teams activated.

Many city and county committees of the UAWK, including Phyongsong City and Sukchon County, are conducting the mass movement to inject vitality into the production of farm machine accessories and the activities of mobile repair teams. -0-
