Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- The Yokgudo Farm in Paechon County, South Hwanghae Province, the DPRK, located in the Yonbaek Plain, a granary on the west coast, has turned into a proud entity for implementing the programme for the rural revolution in the new era.
The farm, where education and housing districts are in perfect harmony with each other on the principle of ensuring formative art and convenience, reflects the civilization and development of the socialist countryside of the Korean style.
In recent years the farm has carried out its grain production plan at over 120 percent on an average and raised the proportion of the farm work done by machines to a high level. In those days all its workteams and sub-workteams were honored with the titles of high-yield workteam and sub-workteam.
There took place a ceremony of moving into new houses and a meeting for the year-end account settlement and income distribution on the spot on November 9.
Present there were Pak Thae Dok, chief secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Won Kyong Mo, chairman of the provincial rural economy committee, officials concerned, officials and agricultural workers of the farm.
Kim Chol Bom, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a speech at the ceremony and the licenses for the use of houses were handed over.
A report was made at the meeting and cashes were distributed to the farmers.
The county mobile artistic motivation team gave an art performance and officials congratulated and encouraged the farmers who received new houses and cashes. -0-
