Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- The Kyongsong Branch of the Institute of Pomiculture and the Orang Branch of the Rice Research Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences were inaugurated in the DPRK.

The construction of the scientific research bases with various research rooms, laboratories, e-reading rooms, offices and all other conditions made it possible to lay the material and technical foundations for putting the agricultural production on a scientific, IT and intensive basis of a higher level and satisfactorily solving the problems arising in farming.

There took place the inauguration ceremonies on the spots on November 9 and 10.

Present there were officials of the Party and power organs in North Hamgyong Province and employees of the branches.

Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the North Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, made inaugural addresses at the ceremonies.

After the ceremonies were over, the participants looked round various places of the branches. -0-
