Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- A men's football match for Torch Cup between Kigwancha and Ryomyong teams took place at Kim Il Sung Stadium on August 15 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Enjoying the match were Pak Thae Song and Choe Ryong Hae, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other senior officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs, chief secretaries of provincial Party committees, members of the National Sports Guidance Committee, leading officials of sports events sponsoring organizations, service personnel, and working people, youth and students in Pyongyang Municipality.

The Ryomyong Team beat the Kigwancha Team 6:5. (The two teams tied 1:1 in the first and second halves of the match and the Ryomyong Team defeated the Kigwancha Team 5:4 in the 11 meter penalty kick at the end of the draw.) -0-
