Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- A dancing party of officials and members of the women's union was held at the Arch of Triumph Plaza on August 15 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The dancing party began amid the playing of the song "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung".

The participants danced, paying the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung who provided the people with a dawn of revival and ushered in a new era of building a prosperous state with independence in politics, self-support in economy and self-reliance in defence on this land.

The participants danced to the tune of revolutionary songs which resounded high in the battlefields of the anti-Japanese war with boundless pride and honor of growing up to be the country's dignified masters and powerful forces pushing one of the two wheels of the revolutionary chariot and of enjoying a worthwhile life under the care of the peerlessly great men.

The atmosphere of the dancing party was revved up amid the playing of the song "Your Embrace is the Best" reflecting the pride and joy of the people who are glorifying the ever-victorious history and tradition of Juche Korea generation after generation and dynamically advancing along the road of the overall development of Korean-style socialism, holding the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in high esteem at the helm of the revolution.
