Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province in the DPRK is pushing ahead with the construction of rural dwellings planned for this year.

The province gave a demonstration lecture on a new construction method which was created in Yonsa County. It is capable of saving cement and ensuring the quality of buildings and the speed of construction.

Hoeryong City is pushing forward with the construction of dwelling houses and public buildings in a three-dimensional way by meeting the requirements of construction and designs and increasing the operation rate of construction equipment.

Kilju County completed the framework project for more than one hundred houses and is carrying on tile-setting and sewerage network projects as scheduled.

Kyongsong County has made achievements in the construction of public buildings including hospital and cultural hall.

Kim Chaek City and Kyongwon and Puryong counties are ensuring both the quality and speed of buildings by rationalizing the allotment of skilled workers for different jobs. -0-
