Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- Workers of the power production units in Kangwon Province of the DPRK are making collective innovations.

Thanks to their devoted efforts for increased production, the electric power production plan for January was fulfilled.

The Hoeyang Army-People Power Station has solved technical problems arising in its operation by its own technical forces while setting ways for putting the water control and the management of hydraulic structures on a scientific basis under the winter conditions.

The Wonsan Army-People Power Station upgraded the technical performance of water level measuring device and introduced a device for normal operation of generating equipment to increase productivity.

The Wonsan Youth Power Station and the Kosong Army-People Power Station have raised the power output per generator while effectively distributing the load dispatch at generating equipment, and the Anbyon Youth Power Station No. 2 and Sepho and Phyonggang army-people power stations have fulfilled their plans while dredging the intermediate water intakes and repairing the transmission systems in time.

The Kosan Army-People Power Station No. 2 and Ichon and Munchon army-people power stations, too, are increasing the electricity output by applying the proposals for technical innovation and ensuring the checkup of equipment as required by technical regulations. -0-
