Railway Transport Field of DPRK Gives Priority to Transport for Flood Damage Recovery

Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- Workers in the field of railway transport of the DPRK are striving to carry the materials for recovering from flood damage on a top priority basis.

The Ministry of Railways has taken measures to shorten the time of train stay at railway stations, while grasping the operation of locomotives and freight cars in time.

The Pyongyang Railway Bureau exploits locomotive and freight car reserves to the maximum to form intensive transport trains to suit the increased amount of freight transport and put efforts on cutting down the turnaround time of freight cars.

The Kaechon Railway Bureau has taken detailed measures for putting operation of trains on a normal basis. -0-
