Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the machine-building industrial sector of the DPRK are putting spurs to the production of machinery, materials and accessories to be sent to regional-industry factories.

The workers and technicians at the Taean Heavy Machine Complex introduced jigs and equipment to improve the quality of welding and increased the production while ensuring the surface roughness of products by using a new abrasive.

Through a mass technical innovation movement, the Pyongyang Electric Cable General Factory 326 manufactured and installed a new dryer into a plastic extruder to remove moisture from raw materials.

Similar successes were made at the Kumjingang Machine Factory under the Ryongsong Machine Complex, the Munchon Valve Factory and the Songchongang Electric Appliances Factory. -0-
