Flowers Laid before Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- On April 25, a significant day when the first revolutionary armed forces of the Juche type were born, the people and service personnel of the People's Army across the DPRK pay high tribute to the forerunners who left precious revolutionary legacies to be handed down to posterity.

Pak Thae Song and Choe Ryong Hae, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other senior Party, government and military officials visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong on April 25 to lay flowers before it.

Among the visitors were bereaved children of anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs and anti-Japanese patriotic martyrs and teaching staff and students of revolutionary schools.

The senior Party, government and military officials, together with all other participants, paid silent tribute to the memory of the revolutionary martyrs who devoted their precious lives to the sacred cause for independence, sovereignty, development and prosperity of the country and for freedom and happiness of the people.

Then the participants went round the cemetery.

They laid flowers before the busts of martyrs and paid high tribute to them. -0-
