Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- The Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the DPRK is putting spurs to the production of advanced agricultural sci-tech products to be applied to farming this year.
The Plant Protection Institute is concentrating its efforts on producing organic rapid fermentation compound germ Piok No. 1, which is effective for protecting land and improving soil fertility, while producing seed rice disinfectant.
The Institute of Agro-chemicalization directs efforts to producing new seed-covering material Phungnyonmo No. 1.
Meanwhile, it is solving the problems arising in the production of the mixed herbicide for paddy rice Phuljabi No. 5.
The Agricultural Nano-technology Institute pushes ahead with the work to produce agrochemical nano-additives to reduce the use amount of agrochemicals and raise the effectiveness of sterilization. -0-
